HEADQUARTERS BUILDING FOR IT DEPARTMENT OF GOVT. OF GABON

An winning entry of an international competition for Ministry of gabon. Design is being done keeping in mind the available construction technology which mainly pre fabricated structures but also includes craftsmanship of wooden shingles which enhances local skill and create employment.

The design form of building is organic in shape with all the three building with N-S orientation with the rotation of 0-20 Degree creating an interesting axis (the connected pathway) through which front to end space can be visually seen through this axis.

The office building is G+9 storey building and has lot of terraces each facing towards east direction and also evolving the spaces like double, triple height in the terraces. The server building is G+1 story, though the ground structural is partially covered with berm and first floor functioning for library.
